2. Trademarks

VVSANDBETTER™ is a trademark of Saint Julius Limited Liability Company, used continuously in commerce in connection with custom grillz and related jewelry services.

The VVSANDBETTER™ name and logo, together with all related names, logos, product names, service names, designs, trade dress and slogans appearing on this site, are our trademarks. Nothing on this site should be read as granting any licence or right to use them.

You may not use our marks:

  • in a business name, domain name, social media handle or username
  • on products, packaging, listings or advertising
  • in a way that suggests we endorse, supply, sponsor or are affiliated with you
  • in paid search advertising or keyword bidding targeting our brand

— without our prior written permission.

Third-party names and marks appearing on this site — including FedEx, Shopify, GIA and any social platform — belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify those companies and their services. Their appearance does not imply any endorsement of us by them, or of them by us.

All content on this site — product photography, video, written descriptions, guides, graphics, page layouts, and the selection and arrangement of that content — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by United States and international copyright law.

Our product photographs are of our own work, shot by us. They may not be copied, reposted, scraped, used in listings, used in advertising, or represented as anyone else's work. This includes reposting to social media as your own, and includes use for training or generating imagery by automated systems.

You may share a link to a page on this site, and you may repost our social media content where the platform's own share functions allow it, with attribution intact.

4. Copyright and trademark complaints

We respect the intellectual property of others and expect the same in return.

If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright or trademark, send a written notice to the contact below including: your contact details; identification of the work you say is infringed; the URL of the material you are complaining about; a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature.

We will review any properly submitted notice and remove or disable material where appropriate. We may also terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

5. Customer reviews and user content

This site displays reviews written by customers. Those reviews are the opinions of the people who wrote them, not statements by us.

We do not pay for reviews, offer anything of value in exchange for a review, or condition any benefit on a review being written or being positive. Our warranty, refit, stone replacement and cleaning benefits are available to every customer regardless. We do not edit the substance of a review, and we do not remove a review because it is unfavourable.

If you post a review or other content to this site, you are responsible for it. See Section 10 of our Terms of Service.

6. Product information and safety

Our grillz are decorative jewelry. They are not dental, orthodontic or medical devices. They are not designed or intended to correct, align, protect, restore or treat teeth, and no claim of any dental or health benefit is made or should be inferred.

Grillz are removable and should be worn as jewelry:

  • Remove them before eating, drinking anything other than water, sleeping, or any physical activity or contact sport
  • Keep both the piece and your teeth clean; wearing an unclean piece against the teeth for extended periods is not good for either
  • Do not wear a set that does not fit properly. If yours does not sit right, send it back to us for a free refit rather than forcing it
  • Never modify, bend or attempt to adjust a set yourself, and never have a third party alter it

If you have braces, implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, recent dental work, gum disease or any dental condition, speak to your dentist before ordering or wearing grillz. Tell us as well, so we can advise on timing. We are jewelers, not dental professionals, and nothing on this site is dental or medical advice.

Some people have sensitivities to particular metals. Tell us before you order if you have a known metal allergy.

Keep grillz away from children. They are a choking hazard and are not intended for anyone under the age of majority.

7. Materials and descriptions

We describe every piece by what it actually is — the metal, its karat, the stone type, and the clarity grade. Every stone we set is VVS clarity or better, in natural diamond, lab-grown diamond or moissanite.

Lab-grown diamonds are disclosed as lab-grown. Moissanite is disclosed as moissanite. Plated finishes are disclosed as plating over solid sterling silver. We do not describe a simulant as a diamond, and we do not describe plated metal as solid.

Clarity grading of small stones is carried out to industry standards but is not a laboratory certification unless we tell you a specific stone is certified. GIA certification is only issued for diamonds of 0.30 carats and above.

Photographs are of real pieces we have made. Stones, finishes and gold colour can appear differently between screens and under different lighting, and a custom piece made to your own impression will differ in shape from any photograph.

8. Pricing

Our pieces are made from precious metals whose market price moves daily. Prices shown on this site reflect market conditions at the time of publication and are subject to change without notice. A quote we give you is valid for a reasonable period and may be re-quoted if not accepted.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, including after an order has been submitted. See Section 13 of our Terms of Service.

9. Content accuracy and no professional advice

Our guides, blog articles and educational pages are provided for general information. They are written from our experience as jewelers and are not dental, medical, legal, financial or investment advice.

Nothing on this site should be taken as a representation that jewelry will hold or increase in value.

We make reasonable efforts to keep this site accurate and current but do not warrant that it is free from errors or omissions.

10. Third-party links

This site links to third-party websites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices or the goods and services they provide. Review their terms before dealing with them.

11. Governing law

This Legal Notice, and any dispute arising from it or from your use of this site, is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, and is subject to the venue provisions in our Terms of Service.
