What you're actually buying
- Stone
- Lab-grown CVD diamond, moissanite, or natural diamond. We explain what each one costs, how hard it is, and how it holds up day to day.
- Clarity
- VVS or better. Nothing below that tier goes in a set, in any material. Ask another shop where their floor is.
- Size
- Pointer sizes quoted in millimeters, and what a 4, 6, 8, or 10 pointer will actually look like at your tooth size.
- Setting
- Honeycomb, galaxy, invisible, open face, solid, end cap. What each costs, how each wears, which need more upkeep.
- Metal
- Solid 10K, 14K, or 18K gold. Or solid .925 sterling silver, finished in rhodium white, yellow, or rose.
You should be able to explain your own set to somebody else.
Aftercare
Come through the shop and we'll clean and check your set. We do it for customers who bought years ago, and we don't invoice for it. Loose stone, dull finish, a cap that's shifted — bring it in.
For anything structural, ask us before you go anywhere else. We know how your set was built because we built it.
Stone replacement
Stones can come loose. It happens to every jeweler's work at every price point, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something.
Stone replacement coverage is available on your order, so a lost stone is a repair instead of a redo.
Reaching us
Seven days a week, more or less. If you're mid-mold at 9pm on a Sunday and something looks wrong, you are not waiting until Monday.
